Jim,
If you take 19 south there is a nice casino that you can boondock at. We've stayed there several times. There is also a casino west of town but I don't know where that one is. I believe Carl and Susan have stayed there several times. That's about all I know about. Good luck and have fun. Dennis

There are a number of folks boondocking up here off of Hwy 60 which would give you a return through Pima to the Escapee park in Deming. Don't know much about south of us.

Alot of BLM land out there, get the map for that area and knock yourself out. There some great country out there. You can get your permit online, I believe.

Jim, just south of Tucson along the Tucson/Ajo Hwy 86 is a popular boondocking place with easy access. It's just south of Ryan Field about a half mile. Also, Casino De Sol is around the corner with a large parking lot where at any given time you will find 30 RV's camped there. This is where Carl and Susan hang out and can give you the lowdown on the best buffet nights.

A good park nearby is Gilbert Ray Campground, a county campground near the desert museum. It's $20 per night and has power, water nearby and a dump station.

Jim and Barry, if I give the Casino cop $20.00 to keep me out of the Casino, I could stop there, otherwise, I probably should go to the BLM area..

Ozz, think of it in this frame of mind, geocashing(could have a totally new meaning in a casino) in and around the casino, work a thirst, wait for a waitress to come by with the cart get your free drink, do some more caching and break for lunch at the buffett. Open a little swap meet in the parking lot for the afternoon, sell geocaching wood boxes, and make your money back for the buffett. Win, Win proposition. On second thought, alot of BLM land in Arizona.

Just south of Tucson is Vail, AZ. There is the Vail Steak house with a huge [arking lot that welcomes RV'ers. food is great and reasonable. I believe it is excit 279 off of I-10
