Holding Tank Repairs

I have had both of my holding tanks to crack and leak into the under belly. Montana has replaced them without a problem. My problem is the dealership which doesn't seem to be able to do it right. They replaced the tanks, but did not seal the vent pipes. So while dry camping they ran over again. Took it back and after insisting they needed to be sealed, they fixed it correctly. Next, I went to clean out my black water tank and they did not hook the hose back up to the tank. Once again flooding the underbelly. My question is where does that connection fit into the tank and what do I need to do to repair it myself?

If you have a 340RLQ Big Sky or a 3400RL Montana then the flush should be on the curb side of the black tank at about the 50%mark which means that if they didn't hook it back up then your black tank is leaking if it gets above 50% full. You can access this area by dropping the belly pan on the right side of the rig. It is just so easy if you have a 3/8 socket on a drill. Keep a bucket handy and put all the self tapping screws in it. Good Luck... Dave and Betsy
