DOMETIC FRIDGE RECALL....REVISIT

I know this was first discussed here back in SEP/OCT 2006, but I just received a recall notice in the mail from Keystone and luckily my fridge is still NOT affected. I have posted a copy of the letter at the link below for anyone who is interested in this latest correspondence on the subject. In the letter it identifies models and serial numbers, what Keystone will do, what you should do, phone numbers and how to identify your unit. I thought this might help anyone who was not aware of the recall or has been unsuccessful in receiving a repair.

I received a letter and mine is included in the recall. The parts to repair it won't be available till early April. So we wait for the parts..

Our fridge is in the recall serial number range. I called our dealer and they will fix it while I wait (about 1/2 hour inspection and fix). We are going to be driving right by the dealer on our way to a camp ground in April so I have an 8:00 am appointment and should be out of there by 9:00 am. Keeping my fingers crossed that it actually will work out that way.
