Heber City Lanyard Making Class
Kristi has volunteered along with Susan Youngren to give a class on making lanyards for our nametag/badges. For most of those who have attended various rallies, we are accustomed to seeing these special pieces of art usually made out of beads, rocks and/or local minerals, and anything cool enough to hang around your neck holding your rally event nametag/badge. Over the last many years, Kristi has accumulated an assortment of these trinkets while at Quartzsite, Tucson, Mexico and ??? for these lanyards. And several MOC members have also donated some of their collections to add to this grouping of artistic accoutrements.
At the workshop, Kristi will supply pretty much everything. There will be a $5.00 charge to help her pay for supplies and future purchases. If you have something special you want to add to your lanyard, bring it. And if your present lanyard needs a little remodeling, stop by also.
The workshop will be held in the clubhouse on Thursday just after the SKY Med presentation, probably around 10:00 am.
There is no need to sign up, just show up!
