TV setup

Hello. I'm new here. We just bought a 19 3791RD. Pick it up next friday. It has 2 TVs, are they both connected to the same cable or do they need separate satellite boxes? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum! It's going to depend on what antenna you are using. A tailgator type antenna can only look at one satellite at a time so even if you have two recievers you can still only watch things from one satelite at a time. If you use a home type dish, or a traveler then you can watch different satellites on the two tvs. We have a traveler and a hopper3 and a joey so we watch watever we want wherever we are in the rig.

The above statement is incorrect there is a Tailgater Pro which has output for two receivers, so no need to spend $2k for a Traveler style satellite.

I Just pruchased the Tailgater PRo for $327

I also just purchased this #4900 King Tailgater. It specifically says you can watch 2 TVs as long as the channels are both on the same satellite , so, you are restricted in that respect. If the person watching on the living room TV changes channels which is located on another satellite then the person watching on the other TV would lose connectivity. Says so on the Amazon Site you posted. Not arguing, just clarifying as I read it. Also, I called King Connect and the confirmed this. on a side note ....King says you can only use a 50' cable with this unit, however I have hooked it up with 75' plus whatever length of cable that runs around inside the RV. It worked perfectly. Hope this helps.
