Montan wiring.

Hello to all, I’ve search the site for the information I’ll need but all the post seem to circle round the problem.
So I’ll ask it here. I purchase a new High country back in March. I ordered it with the gen . set package.
Last week I found a Onan 5500, gas and installed it in the front.
The RV came with a 50 amp transfer switch with. 70 amp neutral. The wires to the box are only rated for 30 amps but I will change them for a more suitable gauge.
In the box there is one red wire, 1 black wire , 2 whites and an unshielded copper.
The generator has 2 reds, 2 blacks ,1 green and an unshielded copper.
Without anyone highjacking the thread, does none know how to wire the generator to the trailer?

The generator nameplate has the complete model and serial number and just below list the windings ratings and output. Can you verify that the output says 120/240V and the amperage?

you can search onan QG 5500 installation manual. The wiring diagram is in the manual. Output is two 30 amp legs of 120v.

THanks, I have it installed and running.
Some people ask for info in hope they can give you bad news. The love to tell you that you can’t do it.
When they out you can make it work, they disappear
Thanks for the good information. Bob
