Just don't get near me folks, I truly have a Black cloud over my head.
Got the Taurus for plinking and an occasional Rattlesnake if the mood strikes me..before the snake does.
I shoot 3 rounds of the 9, it jams. Doesn't matter which brand of ammo (tried 3) Should have stuck with S&W I guess????
I can rotate the cylinder by hand if I force it.
My opinion, based on my machinist background is when the hammer firing pin point striked the shell, it expands the strike area of the brass, and with too-close tolerance between the cylinder and the frame of the gun, it rubs. Took it to a gunsmith in Phoenix, he nodded his head, "Send it back, they will fix it"
The Glocks jam with the light-load shot round, the revolver jams because they obviously don't have any quality control at Taurus.
So, guess I will carry the .38 Air-weight with shot-shells.
I can't buy a break, it seems. Waaa waaa....

If it's new, dry fire the living crap out of it double action. It needs broke in. Taurus still has a problem with their machining processes. If it's older, Taurus went through many problems and changes a few years ago and will fix it, although they are not fast on turn around.

Ozz, the really unfortunate thing has happened yet. Taurus has such a bad rep for customer service that I wouldn't be surprised that you either get it back like it is, or it does the same thing after three more shots. I quit recommending Taurus to buyers years ago. Many of their firearms are based on solid designs (mostly S&W), but they use different material and do not seem to have the same ability to keep tolerances. Sorry!
The Glock on the other hand is an easy fix. If you want to use light loads in it a lot, change the recoil spring. Just don't forget to change it back for normal loads!

X2 with Tom, I stay away from Taurus based on their continuing reputation. Some have had good luck, others not. If I want to gamble I'll go to a casino. Weapons, I want confidence in.

Ozz, I think your revolver problem really applies to the nick name one of the LGS owners in the area refers to the manufacturer of this item as "toys-r-us." Bought a 22LR version from the same manufacturer a couple of years ago and the firing pin would only properly impact and ignite one of nine rounds loaded. Took it back and got a S&W 617 and never looked back.

Ozz, that looks identical to my "old" 4" .357 mag! By "old", it is 25 years old. Have never had any issues with it. It has been a good weapon. Sorry you are having an issue.

find your self a good S&W 19 snubi or even the 4" can't go wrong with a smith. Just picked up 2 more a 17-4 22 LR and 18-4 22 mag both in 8 3/8 barrel.

Allen,I got rid of my Model 19, too heavy, I hadn't shot it in 20 years. Great gun.
Here is what I carry, and probably will carry it or one of my 2 Glocks. Last year, I carried the Glocks. Mod 19 and 17.
The .22 Mag would be perfect, just have to get it fixed. There isn't a part on it that doesn't have sharp edges or Burrs. A P.O.C.
It is heavy, so I assume it would cause some damage if I threw it at something...

Did that with my S&W 9mm and they fixed it right. Best pistol I own!

I have been wanting to get The Judge for a while. Now, with the bad words about Taurus, I think I will stick with my CZ 75B. 3,500 rounds through it without a misfire or missed extraction. And that includes the filthy "Wolf" (Russian) ammo.

I had a Taurus .357 Mag a few years back, kicked like a mule, BUT, nary a problem with it. I also had a Kimber 1911 but it was a little big for my hand and eventually went to the thinner grips and backstrap and also a thinner trigger that set back a little. Shot well and did my AK CCW class with it. I felt it was still a little big for my hand, hence the Walther P99 in .40 cal. The nicest revolver I had was a Colt Frontier Scout in .22LR and an extra cylinder for .22 mag. Loved that little gun, but useless to carry in AK. (Big Game). My gun of choice while flying in AK was a Ruger Blackhawk 7 inch barrel in .44Mag. I had my eye on a Airlight in .38 that only weighed about 7 ounces. Would have been a great concealed carry gun or leg gun........

I was waiting for Allen to catch that. I can see how it happens, when you look at a picture to post, they are small, with a few brews...or no glasses, sometimes we squint through it and post the wrong photo. I bet that is what happened.

Ive had the SA sub-compact like the one pictured as well. Both the Glock 26 and the SA are a fine carry piece!

Yes I missed it I changed it to the right picture I think, that Springfield I took a picture of for a friend that was looking for one and it looked just like the one I took of my Glock
Age and eye sight seem to go hand in hand 
One of the other CC that I have is this Custom Kimber .45. Carries real nice in a pancake holster
