Thank you Vets

Just have to say thank you to all the vets out there, God bless you all. Because of all you brave men and women. I'm free today. So everybody just take a minute of your busy life and just say a silent prayer for all vets past and present, cause without them , where would we be today. Thank a Vet today, and everyday!!

I was not in the military
but I enjoy my family and the freedoms I have because
of the sacrifices of so many.
THANK YOU!

I also would like to thank those who have served. I also would like to make a point to highlight an opportunity to those members who have family or friends who have served this link to a program for retraining members of our armed forces. http://www.uavip.org/ I am proud to be a member of the local that was instrumental in getting this welding program started. I do not mean to politicize this in any way and am only looking to help veterans when in any way I can. This site is a great site for veterans looking to get in the construction industry.
Again many thanks to all vets!!

Dad got a free steak entree at an Applebee's last night. Some chains are offering free food to vets today (Monday) also. So eat free, vets! It's the least anyone can do to say thank you.

P.S. Dad said there was a very old Army vet at the restaurant who was wearing his dress greens. Dad was a little jealous because he can't fit into his old uniform any more (snort)!

We cannot thank our Veterans enough for all they have sacrificed. Without, we are not a free Nation. Regardless of our political differences we can all agree that our men and women are why we exist and why we can sleep sound at night while they keep watch on the wall!

GOD Bless them all.

Thanks everyone. My Brother, his In laws and Susie and I are going to Texas Roadhouse today. We usually have gone to Applebee's but thought we would make a change. And Pat, tell your Dad not to feel alone, I believe my last set of Greens are 30 waist, and now its more like 36--lol Happy Trails Steve and Susie

If there are any other vets out there who would purchase surplus uniforms from Korea or prior eras, forget it! Uniforms from those eras are only available on the internet at BIG BUCKS- None of the local surplus stores I've shopped have old surplus- Vietnam era clothing is available but I question the source and quality of same- JMHO- Don
