Now Im laughing so hard I cant stop!
We just spent nearly 1,000 getting our hydraulic slide fixed here in Coos Bay..Today mill casino made us change rv spots.. we brought the bed slide in, all okay. We were setting up at our new spot and the wife went to bring the bedroom slide out.. sounded like stripped gears and jumpy.. Its not moving .... Called gibs again.. bring it in Friday.. iI swear God hates me..

Hydraulic bedroom slide.. There are no gears... either the hyd cylinder is bypassing internally or you have a loose hyd line or the hyd cylinder is not connected to the slide out rail frame

I am pretty sure dfb has a cable bedroom slide and the gearbox has given up. Not an uncommon problem.

If it is the gear box that quite. Make sure you tell Gibs that you know that Norco had a batch of bad gear boxes and it should be replaced for free by Norco.
Had ours replaced couple of years ago at our SOB Rally, I asked the Norco Rep about what I had heard about bad gear boxes and he confirmed that there was a miscommunication between Norco and their gear box supplier that resulted in sub-standard gear boxes.

Yeap, bedroom slides are usually cable and the gear box may be the problem.

Carry a spare
I have replaced all cable slide gear boxes at least once... carry an extra so I’m not stuck with slide in or out. Not too difficult to replace and adjust. Heard that someone makes aftermarket replacement gears that are not plastic, so you can rebuild your own gearbox. Anyone know if this is true?

My understanding is the 2015 to 2017 were the bad years, but who knows how long some of the Dealers might have in inventory.

Slide out doesn't move
We had a similar situation and it turns out we had sheared a bolt in the arm that takes the slide in and out. Took a bit, but husband and I fixed it with a grade 8 bolt and nut. Just make sure the unthreaded section of the bolt is quite long. Good luck!

The hydraulic cylinder is connected to a set of rack and pinion gears on one side that keep the slide going in and out square to the frame. The racks are connected with a shaft going between the pinion gears. If either side gear or rack mess up the slide will bind up and not go in or out.
