Hello
Hello everyone, Rebecca and I wanted to introduce ourselves. We are new to RVing and bought our first 5th wheel, a 2014 Montana Mountaineer 356TBF about a year ago and stumbled across this amazing site and immediately became members. We are from Ohio but reside in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. It’s been a learning curve to say the least this past year but a great experience, our only regret is that we did not start this adventure earlier in our lives. I retire this April and we plan to hit the road almost full time but keep our house as a home base. Anyway, just wanted to introduce ourselves and say hello.
Jason and Rebecca

Welcome to the forums and glad you finally found us. This forum site truly is a great source of information and help.
Congrats on your imminent retirement. We have basically done the same thing. We retain our house, although we deeded it over to our son a couple years ago, which frees us up to travel and still have a home base to come back to from time to time.
When we are home, my wife and I tease each other. She is the maid and I'm the grounds-utility worker! Our son does appreciate all we do though. Right now, I'm in the process of building a school bus stop shed for the end of the drive way. When done, it "should" look like a little Beverly Hillbilly shack (only much smaller.) So it really is nice to have a home base to return to, for mail, vehicle regestration, banking, and medical stuff.
Good luck to you and hope everything is a joy for you as you travel around.

Welcome to MOC.
We live just up the road west of Salem.
The Shenandoah Valley is a beautiful place. You may travel all over the country and not find a place prettier than the Shenandoah Valley. You should check out Burks Garden. It’s one of the prettiest places I have ever been. It’s a 28000 acre bowl with one creek out and rolling farm land in the bottom.

Welcome to the group,
We also have a Montana Mountaineer. Just got back from a week at Pigeon Forge. First long trip with this camper. We love it.
