no 3rd a/c heat pump

We never put our camper away for the winter there is plenty of [places open all year around here in the North East. Just try to avoid major snow storms. Delaware has 2 large campgrounds walking distance from the beach, take blankets, chairs and a book, still the same and quiet.

Ours never "goes to bed", but it does get winterized. I've been watching the weather reports very close. I almost winterized twice now, but put it off. I kept the heat going, as we are still using it in the drive way. We hit 73 degrees yesterday, and it will be in the 50's for the next week. So, I keep putting it off.

We are planning on a trip to Louisiana, leaving December 26. If temps stay above 20 degrees until then, I may not winterize at all. I'm running through a 30 pound tank of propane about every 10 days now for heat, plus using the electric fire place. When it gets down to 1 - 30 pound tank every other day, then it's time to move into the house. (I hope that does not happen this year.)... for what it's worth, as long as the furnace keeps running, mine stays operational quite well. The coldest I've keep it operational was 10 degrees (F). But, that was a LOT of propane to keep it going.
