Removing Window Awnings Instructions needed

Does anyone have detailed instructions on removing and reinstalling the window awnings. I need to remove two to replace the bad graphics under them.
I know the awning is under spring tension.
Thanks.

John I remember the mechanic removed a rivet that was holding the shade from unraveling when he installed it, he then removed it when it was in the retracted position, it seemed to lock the spring as if they were preloaded, then he opened the shade and closed it a few tiimes to make sure it worked properly.

John, I'm pretty sure I have all documents from when we purchased Monty in Monty. I'll check later today, after church and after the winds die down and let you know. If we do we can run them down to you as "we know where you live". LOL

John, I found a website once when one of mine sagged. I believe it was under Dometic awnings. Worth a try. Larry

Yes, they are a wrist-breaker, so be careful.
Use the biggest cotter pin that will fit in the hole, make sure the holes are lined up properly.
I don't know about window awnings, but I imagine they are about the same as the big one in operation.
The awning mfg. should have good instructions on their web site.
Sue and I have change 3 of them and helped John (Hemlock) change his.
