Inverted Outlets

I have a 2022 3231ck, with Solar 400. It has 4 inverted outlets. What do I need to do to hook up another three outlets to the inverter. Trying to hook up outside tv, bedroom tv and Microwave. Not a/c. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should have more then 4 inverted outlets. All TV's, next to the stove, recliners, Basement, refrigerator.
I suppose you could add on if you can find the inverted circuit.

Microwave has a very high amp load, depending on inverter size it may overload. Worth a review.

Maybe upgrade to a 2000w or 3000w inverter and install a transfer switch feeding into the circuit breaker panel. Then you can run anything you want BUT, you must pay attention to how many amps you are drawing. Only one large appliance at a time. You will need a LARGE battery bank if you go this way.
Or run an extension cord from an existing inverted receptacle to where you want.

The OP has a flex 400 so he already has a 2000 watt inverter. I'm confused as to why Keystone didn't include inverted plugs at the bedroom TV and the basement. They don't offer a microwave inverted outlet as far as I know. It could be done but you'd need a massive solar array and battery bank and 4000 watt inverter. The solar flex 400 package work pretty dam good even for the coffee pot.

Agree. Most don't consistently run the M/W off the inverter...you can do it, but not for long.

Microwave is 900 watt. Even with high start up it can run with 2000 watt inverter. Still trying to figure out how to add the outlets. I run 300 amp lithium so I have the battery for a short Microwave. The other outlets use minimal power.

In order to add plugs to the inverted circuit you will need to disconnect those circuits from the main panel and add them to the inverted circuit. Probably not hard if you are an electrician and can run down all the circuits in the coach. Keystone runs a lot of circuits from one outlet to another outlet just like a house so each outlet isn't on a dedicated run back to the panel. We had the two outlets in our dining area slide go out. I traced those back to a connection on the "coffee bar" which also connected elsewhere in the RV on that same circuit. It inspired me to trace all the circuits in my 2022 3791RD. As you will see, the TV in the bedroom is on a circuit with lots of other outlets. Same for the basement (and that one is on a GFCI because it's technically "outside". So I am currently using the "extension cord" method to run the bedroom TV or the TV I have mounted in the basement. Good luck and fill us in on how you get this working.

Do I have inverted outlets?

I have a 2019 MHC 3330 no residential fridge. Do I have any 120 v outlets that run off battery? Last year the power went out in our park for 36 hours and our CPAPs wouldn’t work. I’ve since bought a heavy duty emergency power pack that will cover us both for 12 hours’ sleep, but wonder if we could run an extension cord to inverted battery power if need be to augment?

Two viable options:

-Add an inverter with associated internal wiring or use an extension cord or

-Add a genny

Question I have a 2021 3791 Montana with a 2000 watt inverter but only the refrigerator is on it. I need to know how to add the bedroom outlet so I can run my cpap? Thanks in advance.

What solar package do you have? 200 or 400? Typically a 200 with a residential fridge would have a 1000 inverter. A 400 would have a 2000 with additional inverted plugs. Maybe they ran out of 1000's and you got a free upgrade. I attached the wiring diagram. The inverted outlets are fed directly from the inverter. They don't go to the breaker panel. The inverter has a 20 amp resettable breaker built in. So a long winded way to say that you can home run an inverted outlet directly to the inverter output. Not and easy task for every model rig. Mine has the cpap outlets wired under the bed frame which is over the basement near the inverter.

Shaw918, the easiest way would be to put in a subpanel for those outlets. One issue to watch is your basement TV outlet is a GFI circuit, the bedroom is not. So, make sure you keep those circuits separate. Best of luck.

Again if you read the diagram, you don't need a sub panel. At the rear of the inverter there is a cover. Remove it, Run a parallel connection from the AC output to a GFI in the basement and run the bedroom off of that outlet.
