Dometic A/C and Heater Thermostat

To mazeeff and mjcjtroy. Our dealer ordered and changed the thermostat to the comfort control system digital thermostat (#3109228.001) as you did. Thanks. What a difference. They ordered it along with new day/night shades for our \Montana.
Took it in and was out in a couple of hours. They did have to call Dometic and ask the dip switch settings so the heater would come on.
Again thanks for the information on the thermostat. The one that came with the Montana was worthless.

Glad to hear that we have another happy customer! I just wish that Montana/Dometic would step up to the plate and replace them all. We have had ours installed for several months now, and don't even think about it. I have not had to touch the butons in over a month. It holds the temp to +/- 1 degree, like to should.

Do a search for "Remote thermostat" authored by Broome101. It is 19 pages long! Page 7 gives the details for the change out.
