We used this one for 7 years of full timing: https://www.amazon.com/Oxygenics-264...=rv+showerhead

Now that we have a new rig we will be getting another one.

If you boondock or think you might make sure and get one that has the instant on/off button to save water. Much tougher to take a Navy shower if you have to turn the handles on and off.

Water pressure in the shower

The water pressure at my house will peel plant off the deck railings. I have no idea what the PSI is - never checked it. My shower is great!

For my RV I use an adjustable pressure regulator set at 55 psi. I used a fixed 40 psi regulator for years. I put a oxygenics shower head on my previous RV. It did not turn the RV shower into a “paint peelin’ pressure washer like my S&B shower. I don’t think a shower head swap will significantly change the feel of an RV shower. If you want a “high pressure” shower - better walk over to the campground shower house early in the morning and hope the hot water works.

I'm sure the low pressure is a result of a plastic restrictor in the head. You can usually remove the plastic insert inside the head. I do on any new faucets/shower heads, etc. I install. I haven't bothered on my new 3791RD so not sure how easy/hard it is but it's usually easy.

Many people don't understand the difference between pressure and flow, but you need to in order to solve your problem. "Flow" is a measure of volume of water delivered in a period of time. The poor shower is caused by low flow, as are most other RV water supply problems. "Pressure" is a measure of the force of the water, and it is measured when no water is flowing ("static" pressure). It is true that for a given plumbing system, the higher the pressure, the better the flow. However, there is a practical limit to increasing pressure to improve flow.

Save the receipt for regulators bought at CW or like places.

Everything you want to know and don't want to know about rv water issues can be found at rvwaterfilterstore.com.
