MPG was not a consideration when purchasing the diesel truck.It was ordered and purchased to tow a heavy 5th wheel within spec's. MPG is what it is to do so.

We see @ 10MPGg when towing at times a bit less and at times a bit more. RV'ing is a expensive endeavor. Diesel, Campgrounds, Rallies , Etc.When you do it full time or long times it takes a chuck out of the paycheck.
