awning mold
I have a couple of spots of mold on my awning about one turn out from the body of the 5r. Any guidance of how to safely remove it?

Living in the NW we get lots of Mold and for the awning I just use any of the RV awning cleaners on the market and when I am cleaning my roof I use my 1700 P.S.I. ELECTRIC power washer to take off the mold REAL quick on the awning too

Best way of not getting the mold is to make sure your awning is dry when you roll it up. If you can't do that because it is raining, unroll it at your next stop and make sure it dries out. I try and hose mine off every so often to make sure the dust and pollen do not stick to it, then let it dry before rolling it back up. Since I store our Monte in a building, I unroll it while it is parked there to make sure it does not collect any moisture from condensation also.

I wet down one side of the awming with bleach water & roll it up & let sit about 1/2 hour. Unroll & spay with the hose& let dry. Normally takes care of the problem. Also, good idea to leave awning out every few days to make sure it's dry.

I use Mold Armor spray on from Home Depot - works great - just don't get it on your clothes.

Use a spray bottle with bleach....a little of Dawn dish soap and water. Open the awning.....spray the underside.......roll it up for 20-30 minutes.........open it up and spray it off.
