I got my 3 rolls of LED lights yesterday, 2 with 120 volt power supplies and one for just 12v. I see they have a lot of other accessories for these lights but I see no barrel connectors for the 12 volt. I talked to John last night and he suggested Rat Shack however last night on the news Radio Shack announced they were closing 1200 stores. I guess I better find one that has the barrel connectors I need and buy them out.. John will be here next week and I bet we find his lights. Dennis and Linda (mudchief) are here at the range with us and plan on leaving on Thursday.

I'm betting you know where John's lights are, or is it just coincidence that you have new LED lights?

Actually when I lose stuff in this rig and he visits he finds it, and the reverse holds true also. It usually just takes another point of view to see them.. One of the things I found after mounting my first long string on the big slide is that there is a HUGE amount of dust and cob webs on the wall above the slide. I just got done using 4 Swiffers on the living room walls. Hopefully when I install the other lights there won't be as much crud on the walls...

I am about to install a LED strip on my 3850FL. Is there any issues with the sticky back of the LED strip damaging the gel coat fiberglass? Is there any product to use that is better for attachment than the stock sticky strip on the LED strip?

I used 1/2' wide 3M body moulding tape from an auto parts store. So far its been perfect.

I did the same. The 3m has held. So far no problem.

I used the 3 m and is good. Where the wire plugs into the white control box be careful. Although the lights are referenced as water proof, water found its way into that connection and they sent me new stuff. So this time,I sealed the connection with silicone. No more problems.
