Timely question about a Howard Miller Clock

Just wondering if anyone else has a Howard Miller wall clock with a bayonent type fitting. Our new 3000RK has one and it will not work more than a day or two. However if I bring it into the stick house and set it on a table in the same upright position as in the rv the goofy thing runs like "clockwork."
I contacted the mfg and they said some did have a problem.

Geezoots - My Monty didn't come with a Howard Miller clock. In fact, it didn't even come with a clock! Just the clock in the Apollo, and it broke!

Those new Monties are sure nice!

If the clock came from Montana, it's probably as reliable as the DVD Surround System!

We bought a wall clock from Wally World. Only $5.00.

The clock is a really nice and fits the decor very well. It has been sitting on my desk here at home all night and has kept perfect time. Guess it doesn't like camping.

About the sound system, I don't understand what you mean, our replacement (dealer replaced first one) works just fine. I couldn't be more satisfied with our '08 3000RK, OK I have a few minor mods to fit my personal desires.

I've had Howard Miller clocks in the stick house for years. They are the grand father type with weights. I have found that if they are not perfectly level and plumb they will only run for a day and then stop.
Yours may be different.

This is a battery operated clock that is fastened over the entry door.
