I don't know anything about dimmers but I can comment on changing the the over bed lights. Ours were too bright as well so I replaced them entirely with these:
https://www.amazon.com/Dream-Lightin...s%2C216&sr=8-1
One tap = blue light, hold for a couple of seconds = white light. Absolutely love them.

Since no one has answered. We didn’t use a dimmer switch we cut some of the lights off. Maybe you could cut some lights off or remove some bulbs. I know it would be better to have a dimmer switch as it is easier to cut the lights back up.

If I put hangy down lights above our bed, I'd hit my head on it. And I hit my head on enough stuff without intentionally putting things in my way. I've found some dimmer lights on Amazon that look just like the ones Montana puts everywhere, gonna order some.

So frustrated right now. I'm pretty handy and installing a 12 volt dimmer really shouldn't be that hard . I purchased 2 of these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QC3686T...roduct_details
I removed the bedroom and bathroom switches, cut the holes to fit, wired the bathroom and tested. The lights were super dim. About 20%. I tried both dimmers with the same effect. I used a volt meter to ID the pos and neg source and wired as directed. Can all LED puck lights be dimmed?
It just dawned on me. Would Keystone have run the lights in series instead of parallel?

Some LEDs are labeled as dimmable. Some are not. No idea what yours are.
I would measure the voltage out of the switch thru complete travel of the dimmer function. Should range from a full 12 volts when switch is positioned for full brightness to something less than 12 volts as it moves toward the dimmest position.
I would not think they would be in series. LEDs should be labeled for the design voltage. If labeled 12 volts they would not be in series or they would never be full brightness.

I did a bench test and the switch worked. I connected it in the trailer and discovered I had the light polarity backwards... Getting ole sucks

How did you wire the switch. My dimmer has 3 wires and my light switch has one ground and one pos to the switch?

Did your dimmer switch come with wiring instructions? If you do not have that info you can probably google your dimmer switch model number wiring and find it.
