Link to the manufacturer web site, click here

If it requires a fork lift to place in the bed of my truck, I think that's just a little to heavy for me.

HF also has a cable winch hoist that goes into your bumper reciever.

I was going to mount one on my shop by the door, but I never take mine out.

I'll pass on the wench, but thanks for the idea. I'm quite happy with my el-cheap-o Recon hitch, that weighs about 100 pounds and comes apart in 3 pieces for easy removal! It might not be air-ride, but as it is with everything when it comes to our RV's, there's trade-off's for everything!

Weight

Actually the weight is around 300 lbs, for the Trailer Saver Air ride hitch. Two men can put the hitch in the Truck. Since I have a John Deere with front end loader, why not let it do the heavy lifting. As I noted I have owned a variety of 5th wheel hitches. Both cheaper and more expensive, it is a choice. We traveled extensively for several years, thousands of miles each year. We learned the Trailer Saver Air Ride was the best for our use. Our previous 5th wheels SOB and a Cambridge, all were very heavy. When loaded as we were learning, the weight was in excess of 20,000, however over the years we learned we didn't need all the goodies that we were hauling around. We learned we didn't need every compartment full.

We tried cheaper, however, we ordered the B&W in April, still had not received the hitch as of June 16th, that was enough, ordered the TS on 16 June in the AM, from Michigan from Aaron, the hitch arrive at our home town on Friday 18th of June. We had been waiting since April for a hitch to go and get our 2021 Montana 3762 BP. Had to cancel our Trip to Montana and Utah, were schedule to leave on 23 June, on our Western circle. Life is full of choices, do what makes you happy!

Happy Trails.

I use my truck for other purposes. There's no way I could get this in and out. Should be called the "Back Breaker"

Trailer Saver

I purchased one of these several years ago. Still running strong and absolutely love it. For those of you worried about the weight, it comes apart very easily into two pieces. Each piece is about 65 lbs.
