Battery Dead

After having my 2019 Montana 3781RL winterized, I put it in storage. It has service from a 110v outlet. Nothing has been turned on and now the battery is dead. Any suggestions on what drained the battery? This is the first time the unit has been stored, full time the previous 3 yrs. Thanks Jimbo

Did you leave the battery disconnect on? If it's plugged in and the disconnect is still on it should be charged. If it is on you may have a parasitic draw putting a minor load on the battery. If it's the original battery it may have run it's life span. 4 to 5 years on a LA battery is average. I'd pull the battery and bench charge it. Then load test it. If it tests good make sure your converter is charging. It's possible the converter is bad.

Fluid in the battery?? With shore power on, what is battery voltage? Should be 13+ volts if converter is working. I have had the ground wire connection to the frame become non-functional. Had to remove sand the components, lube and reconnect.

When the 12 volt disconnect is engaged; it doesn't fully disconnect the 12 volt system (in mine the lp detector for example was still lit).

When you store the rv, disconnect the negative battery cable

I wasn’t sure so completely disconnect the battery. Sounds like I made right call.

Check battery voltage while on shore power - should be 13+ - pull shore power should be 12 + . If the first doesn't do 13+ then converter is out. which might be why it died.
