Need refrigerator trouble shooter

We have a Dometic refrigerator, it takes at least 10 or 12 attempts to light the gas on it, sometimes way more attempts. It sparks just fine but acts like gas is not getting to it, both tanks are full and the stove lights perfectly. I really don't want to have to take to the dealer if at all possible, I hope it is something we can fix or replace on our own. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Check the burner and the orfice to insure no blockage, rust, or spider webs. Also check the flue on the unit to insure no blockage. Mud dubbers love to nest in there. Jim

I was having problems with mine so I called Dinousar and ordered a new board for it. I think the cost was $80 or so and that took care of my problems. You might want to try this before you call for repair.. Mine was acting like it was not getting gas but would work on 110..

Since it lights, good advice to check' your gas orifice for partial blockage. I would also check to see if you experience the problem with both tanks.

If you have the Dometic book it shows how to clean the orifice.

I just had the dealer spray windex on it and then wipe it off. but, I really say get to a dealer since that is what a warranty is all about....good luck

Looks like my eyebrow board is bad, covered by warranty and should have parts and repair by early next week. Thank you everyone for the input!
