new monty 2

well went by the dealer today and looked and they were getting everything ready for saturday pdi. 1 question i have 6 lug dexter axles on the 2011 monty high country, the 2014 3625 has 8 lub axles is that the difference between 7000 and 8000 lb axles. plus the dealer today called and said that the microwave/conv oven has a service bulletin on it and says it will start all by itsself, they scheduled a tech to come and check mine next wednesday for me. and fix it at least they didnt wait till i bought it and then i had to find out another way. so far the dealership has been pretty good, 2nd monty bought there plus random service at times.

I seem to recall 6 lug axles are used in lighter weight rigs. I would guess you have 5K axles and (maybe) 15" rims????

The larger/heavier Montana all use 8 lug hubs on axles that are either 5,200, 6K, or 7K axles.

Not likely 8k axles. Probably 7k like most now. Was the water heater an Atwood?

The 8 lug rims should be the heavier rims designed for the G614 upgraded tires option which will handle the 100 PSI max tire pressure.

Funny you mention the Micorwave...we are having ours replaced as we have a poltergeist that will cause the unit to start beeping and changing the clock when it feels like it.....Dealer has ordered a new one so we will replace soon.

Sounds like you have a good dealer. Since I keep a list of where to go in the country if I need service, can I ask the dealers name and location?
