Questions That First Timers Ask
For all of you out there that are attending your first rally, you probably have lots of questions. First and foremost, signing up is only the first step. As the rally schedule gets finalized, there will be a request for coordinators. The best way to get the most out of the rally is to get involved. You will meet more people, make more friends and connections. No experience necessary. Each coordinator will be looking for assistants. Don’t feel like being a coordinator, be an assistant. As for activities, there are three types for the most part - meals, tours and seminars. I have never heard of anyone coming to Rally and going home hungry. To know how many are coming, usually meals and tours require you to sign up for them. Seminars are usually open. So, don’t register and figure you’ll just show up. You need to watch for signups, as some are limited to a certain number of people. Signups will be posted as the activity is finalized. Many activities require the commitment of Keystone’s vendors and they may not be able to schedule until a month before rally. Be patient. We have been to a few of these Rallies and you will get out of it what you put into it. Site assignments is the one item that everyone is always interested in - where will I be and who will I be near? Well, my experience has been that outside of handicap considerations, being involved in activities is usually taken into consideration for site assignments. Also, the tendency is to put first timers near veteran rally attendees. I hope this helps answer some questions for our first time attendees. We were all first timers at one point. Looking forward to meeting new friends.

My wife and I just signed up - and we're first-timers.
Is there a description of the facilities?
Are there hookups?
Thank You!

Thanks! We were wondering what to expect as this is our first. We have heard good things for other rallys as we have traveled around and are looking forward to this event!

SteveandTerri--- Please read over some of the other posts concerning the Rally. Everyone will have a full hookup--electric(50 and 30 amp), water and sewer. The only catch is that ALL SITES are back in sites and all of the hookups are at the rear of each site, so bring extra sewer hose and extra fresh water hose.
For a description of the facilities, you can go to the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds and see the layout of the complete fairgrounds and campgrounds. We will be posting the sites that each attendee will have later this summer and possibly even a couple weeks before the Fall Rally itself. The sites are assigned by the Wagon Master Team.
Harlow-- If you go into the postings of the previous Fall Rallies you will see what they have offered and hopefully things to happen at this years Fall Rally. Looking forward to meeting all of the first time attendees and the previous attendees also. See you in September.

Here is the link to the campground web page - http://www.4hfairgrounds.com/. Full hookups, 30/50 amp, water and sewer. Just bring extra hose as the connections are behind your rig.

So here is a First Timer question...This is our first time to a rally. If the dates are 11-18, does that mean that things start happening on the 11th (meaning it is best to arrive on the 10th)? Coincidentally, if it ends on the 18th, does that mean that things are happening on the 18th or just a good bye as everyone is rolling out the gate? Just trying to plan to get the most out of it. Thanks!!!

If you can go early I would. We missed the first timer orientation last year because we were late arriving. Plus it is harder to park when it is full

Many of us arrive as early as possible. The actual start is the afternoon of 9/11, as Jeff said the first timer orientation takes place that afternoon. On the 18th, some people will leave early and some will stay several extra days. This year, you can add the first two days into your rally payment when you register. We like to get there on Sunday. Many people use the extra time before and after to get work done such as IS, tires, hitches, etc.

Cindy-- As Jeff stated the agenda will be posted at a later date but you can go on to the 2018 Rally postings and get an idea on what the agenda will be somewhat. There will be changes to it on days things are held and etc but the agenda for most Fall Rallies is basically the same. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions concerning the 2019 Fall Rally just ask away and we'll try and answer them.

There will be a posting as we get closer to the rally. If I remember right it is after your site has been assigned. You will be asked what 2 repairs you need done and What your site number is.

Anthony-- The answer to your questions is that -- We will have service techs on site BUT they will be scheduled by a tech advisor that will be coming around to talk to you on any problems. You will only have approximately 10-15 minutes with the advisor because they try to work with as many attendees as possible over a short period of time and schedule the service techs accordingly. As Jeff stated, it is normally only two items that the service techs will work on and those will be done at the campground IF it is at all possible to do there. There is nothing like changing out slides, furniture or anything like that however. Some may be sent to one of the local dealers in the area or local rv repair companies if the tech advisor thinks it is needed.
Hope this answers your question/s. See you in Goshen in September!
There will be a posting for signing up for the Keystone Tech Visits so watch in the coming months for this posting and other items such as tours and dinners that you might want to sign up for.

Paul, if you go to 2019 Annual North American Fall Rally and click on the Rally Registration post by bish you will see how to register for the Rally. The cost depends on whether you will arrive 1 or 2 days early prior to the Rally start.
Or you can click on this site and it will take you to the Registration form and the cost if figured in there when you register:
https://www.regonline.com/2019MontanaOwnersClubRally
Hope to see you at the Fall Rally in September!

Whenever you get there, it will be open. Starting on Monday, our sites should be open. Looking forward to seeing all of our new and old friends at the rally.
