Help please.. Washer/Dryer Extraction...:-)
Can someone tell me the trick to getting a washer dryer out of the closet?
My concern is the vent hose from the dryer. Do you have to take the outside vent cover off in order to un-do the vent hose to the dryer ?
I'm having a new washer/dryer delivered in the morning and need to get this one out.(i'll explain later in a different post)
I already took the doors off.

Nahh, the metal tubing connects to the side vent with a hose clamp, is just slips off on mine.
I installed a flat aluminum telescoping back vent assembly on mine, it comes out with the dryer.
Pull out the dryer, (If Two piece) first, then the washer. You may have a one piece W/D,, if so, it should just come out by rocking back and forth, pulling to you as you go.
Good luck.

I have the one piece unit and it looks like the dryer vent hose goes into the side of the dryer. I'm gunna try and pull it straight out and then undo the vent hose. there is zero room on the side of the dryer to get in there and undo the connection.its actually a plastic tie-wrap around the end.

Well Blue, doesn't look like they installed it very good, I can't imagine how they got it in without damaging or kinking the vent hose. I put my vent high so I could access it.
It is possible, (probable), they pushed the hose through the wall, then attached the vent cover on the outside, you might unscrew the vent cover and check it out there.

Hey Ozz,
I think I figured it out. I have the Kenmore All In One Unit and between the washer and dryer is a removable panel to access the vent connection and hoses.
Thanks
