Tyron Trouble

We purchased our Monty back in 2018. It came with Tyron Safety Bands. Didn't know anything then but I know a lot more now.

Time has come to swap out my tires for new ones.

I am looking for an Authorized Service Center that is experienced at changing tires with those Tyron Bands. I'll even added anywhere in Arizona or even the western United States if I have to.

Any ideas.

First time I've heard of it. I watched the video's, very impressive. Looks like Tampa is the only dealer in the US? You should email directly and ask. Based in England. Looks like a business opportunity for someone in the states...

Go to IRV2 forum (sister forum to this forum - same sign in credentials will work) and search "Tryon bands". Lots of threads to read.

This thread from May 2023 is interesting to read...
https://www.irv2.com/forums/f106/whe...ol-614308.html

It seems that when you first get the bands installed they are supposed to give you a roadside emergency kit..see pic below. You can buy one from Tryon for $280. Several folks in the thread above mention that Les Schwabb stores have worked with Tryon bands. I was surprised at how many posters bought the RV used and the bands were on the rig...now they want them removed due to the good chances that an emergency roadside assistance crew will refuse to work with the bands. Retroband is a competitor to Tryon bands if you are interested in getting them.

In the last post of the thread referenced above - one guy posted this...

Hello,
I created a business helping people with anything Tyron related .
Let me know if you need any assistance at all.

Thanks, Mikensdebbie, I do remember reading that post in irv2, but I did not see the 2nd page. I ran across Jeff and Blue Chip in an add on You Tube I believe and called him, set up an appt to meet in Palm Springs to remove my bands.

I'm going back to Alaska next year, I anticipate the worst accept the best and the bands I feel will add more headaches than there worth, if I have a flat. We had one last time we were up there so been there done that applies, I guess. Get ready for everything, and a good roadside assistance program helps a lot!

I will return with a final thought in about 2 weeks.

Oh by the way, hay Chuck, Tyron-USA in Florida, I'm afraid I'll be on hold for quite some time. Never heard back from him.
