sofa replacement

Yea the furniture is peeling like a bad sunburn, really don't want to replace with rv brand furniture. The front living slides are raised or elevated higher than the living room floor. Has anyone put home sofa in, and do you have to take legs off to compensate for the raised slide ?

Guess you have the 3790 or 3791. The 2018's are getting Thomas Payne furniture, which is a considerable improvement over the Lippert I had in the 2016. Like you I considered the Lippert unsuitable, but at the time the raised floor gave no alternatives.
I have a 2018 on order, maybe you should check out if the Thomas Payne is available at your furniture store.
Now if only Keystone would go with LazyBoy, by far the best we have seen, (Cedar Creek Champagne) but presently won't work with the raised floor.

You can check out the Thomas Payne furniture on line and order on line like I did. Camper World has it in stock. I have 2 of their euro chairs. I bought them because they are 27 inches wide and I had a 54 inch space to put them. They were under $400 delivered. They are covered in a thin vinyl material are comfortable, look good and are cheap along with inexpensive.

Thinking about these, remove the rear legs, let the front legs hang over the front ledge of the the slide.

Understanding what the "leather" was in these Montana's we it replaced with cloth OEM.Helen did buy herself a lazy boy recliner to replace the uncomfortable recliner.

The cloth sofa wears like iron as did the cloth stuff in our 06 3400.We are looking for a better sofa that is Nap friendly but no luck thus far.

Recliners should be easy as most, if not all, backrests are removable. Sofas can be tricky so you need to find the measurements before buying. They might have to go in on end. You will definitely need help.

We changed ours this past summer. Recliners didn't come apart, but turning them on their side they went out the door. Sofa the backs came off allowing it to go out the door. New furniture was moved in and setup and we're happy campers now, tho a little lighter in the money department.
