Outside "Scare Lights" won't turn off
Happy 4th folks. I recently purchased a new 3750FL, which has two flood lights on either side of the front cap, I understand they're called scare lights. The one on the "drivers" side has never worked since we hauled it from Prescott, AZ to TX.
When we got here it went into storage, now wanting to use it, my batteries are dead, and the batt switch was "Off". Come to find out the scare light on the passenger side is on full time, I couldn't see it in the day time when I stored it. I can't get it to go off! There are two "Flood" light switches in the entry cabinet, DS and ODS, the DS doesn't illuminate, the ODS is lit up top and bottom no matter what position the switch is in, on or off.
I turned the batteries off, light stayed on. Unplugged the shore power, still on. Pulled every fuse in the box, still on. I switched every breaker off, still on. Closed the door, still on. Boring, eh?
I'm getting ready to leave for a trip to the gulf with my granddaughter and her BF from Alaska, and think I may have to get up there somehow and remove the light!
Does anyone have any idea what's going on? There is nothing in my documentation about lights.
Thanks, Larry

Turn off the lights with your remote. Once they are activated via the remote they have to be turned off with the remote.

You'll find that's the problem. It's happened to many of us, particularly if you put the remote in your pocket and then squatted down or bent over.

That was the problem, thanks guys. The remote only operates the entry door flood it looks like. The other side doesn't come on and never has, I'm assuming the bulb is burned out...unless y'all know another trick!

You know, I recall the tech telling me I needed to push the remote bottom center button to activate in order to move the rooms out, I must have pushed both buttons, because the remote lit up, but Ii couldn't get it to move the slides...possibly a bad combination of button pushing.

If you hit them twice (during a certain time period) mine will light, but I've actually turned it off and have to hit them again. On the light, burned out would be what I would check first.

I purchased a 2010 3750FL and I didn't get a remote … What does it look like or where do I order one?

This was a 6 year old thread so not many of the original posters are still here. There have been several styles of remotes over the years. Here is a link to a Lippert article on remotes. CLicky
A Search here for "remote" should uncover numerous topics about remotes. Here is one of many Clicky
A Montana dealer or even Lippert can probably identify the specific model of remote associated with a 2010. Some replacements are available from places like Amazon. Here is one that may be correct for a 2010 but I would verify before buying.

That 3rd link looks exactly like the remote for my 2011 3455sa unit.
