Bedroom TV fell off the wall!

Hello,

We've got a 334BH. On the recent leg of our journey the bedroom TV and swing arm fell off the wall. The TV was fastened up with large screws into the wall where Montana put the "Fasten TV Here" sticker. It looks like this has happened before to the PO as there are several holes in the wall along this line.

I am thinking of mounting a piece of 1/2" plywood on the wall with Power Grab glue an screws then putting the TV arm screws in that.

Any ideas on doing how to mount the TV so it doesn't happen again?

The plywood gusset plate you have described is exactly what I would do - and have done successfully on previous RVs.

If you glue the plywood backer to the wall, it is only binding to the wall paper.
I would use lots of Jack nuts to hold the plywood to the wall. Then attach the TV mount to the plywood.
