2018 Montana HC 305rl

Hello everyone hope all is well. My wife and I just took delivery of our 2018 Montana 305rl. I must say so far the fit and finish is meeting my expectations, which are quite high which I know is a bad thing to have in the RV world. We upgraded from a 2013 Laredo 266rl which did my wife and I very well however now that we're starting a family we needed somthing much more kid friendly while not being so massive incorporating a bunk house. We were able to order the dinette which is excellent for sleeping arrangements. The slide height room is amazing and the amount of windows are a huge positive. Coming from our Laredo which had barely any storage to this Montana is night and day, the drop frame gives an unreal amount of outdoor storage also. Tons of cool features on his unit and we are excited to give it our first try next week. Just finished taking the storage rack off the back, reinforcing the stock bumper for a mud flap, and installing my custom boat hitch

The 305 is my favorite of all the Montana and HC campers.

Nice camper! We just bought a 2017 305RL last month. We love all the cool features! I started the fridge yesterday to test it out, and not only does it work, but it also displays the inside temperature on the top! Our first outing in it will be June 9 so we are just getting it ready and testing stuff out. Enjoy!

One thing a lot of us would recommend is, if this unit came with E rated ST tires get rid of them. We call them China Bombs for a reason.

Welcome from Southern California. We almost got the 305, but my wife wanted the extra pantry space in the 352. Lots of good info here. Safe and Happy travels.
