getting parts for monty
I know some have used Tiara RV for parts, so here's an intro to this post. Large metal sign attached to large truck leaving a lasting impression on the side of the unit in arkansas. Called Keystone to see about getting part numbers, etc for door window and frame, both windows on curbside slide. Parts only available through dealers and for parts shipped to us in albuquerque, new mexico we can use Tiara RV or in albuq...Chisolm Trail RV or Rocky Mountain RV. Phone numbers were given to me for all three of these as well as Kinro (not known if they can supply parts to individuals). So has anyone dealt with these two places in Albuquerque? And those of you that have dealt with Tiara, was it something large like windows? John

I've dealt with Tiara on slide toppers and awnings, satellite dishes and things like that, never on something like windows. I liked them, but I was also having the work done by them. In Albuquerque I had some issues with the Montana dealer, but Keystone authorized the Camping World there to do warranty work for us (many Camping Worlds are Montana dealers just not this one) and they've done work on our rig every year since, including replacing some large parts.

John-- If you can find an RV salvage company or yard anywhere near you, I'd give them a call also to see if they might have the windows and door you need. If you get them from a salvage company you might save enough to have a mobile service tech install them for you to unless you want to install them yourself!

I purchased a dual pane, slide-open, emergency exit window for the bedroom directly from Kinro, but it was probably about 5 years ago, it was fairly cheap too. They had no problem with shipping it directly to my home on the West Coast. With a large window, like the dining room window or rear window, might be a problem with delivery to a residence, it might have to go somewhere with a loading dock and a fork lift.
Of course, they might not sell direct to consumers by now. Only way to find out for sure would be to call them. Back then, I dealt with a gal named Dawn, who knows if she is still around or not. I think they went through some business restructuring since I got my window.
