Final Inspection

Hi again,
Wish to thank everyone who helped & encouraged us on our purchase.
Final 2nd day inspection went well...well almost. Sterio system works...
almost. There has got to be an easier way! Any suggestions as to
what system we can replace it with?
Also, we have the convection oven and microwave combo. No instruction booklet. Dealer didn't have one either.!!!! Infact the dealership was a
disappointment. Love to take your money, but don't come back with any problems attitude. And, they were very surprised we had the PDI list with
us for inspections (gave them a copy before inspections). They said they have never had such an inspection!
At any rate got home with no problems and the truck pulled it like a dream.
Only problem now is hubby...he thinks he needs more than the 3/4 acre we have to turn it around!!! Oh well practice will make perfect.

Looking forward to hitting the road in October.

Thanks for the update syplace. It is unfortunate that all dealers are not the same. A good dealer really does make a difference in your overall Montana experience. Our dealer in Burlington is priceless.

On the inside of our convection/microwave oven was a cookbook, instructions and warranty info from the manufacturer. You may want to try e-mailing the manufacturer for the information.

If you have the Quest dvd/cd system, it has much to be desired. Our rear speakers did not work, however, after making some minor programing adjustments to the Quest unit (instructions in the manual), we now get sound out of the rear speakers.

Tell hubby to relax, he doesn't need the 3/4 acres (just more grass to cut). Try your local Walmart parking lot - lots of room there to practice turning, parking, backing up etc. That's what we did, and then went in and treated ourselves to a cold soda!

In your signature it mentions "2005 3295RK w/airlift". Is the airlift something to do with the shocks or springs or do you have an air hitch?

Marianne, Let John know that he does not need as much room to turn, First pull forward enough to clear the area he want to back into then turn the opposite direction to get things going then follow the rearend by turning in the direction of the unit to strighten it out, then he can pull out as far as he need to clear anything that may be in the way of the unit.

Congrats on your new Montana. Sorry to hear your dealer. Seems like you might have taught him something.

Ah! The Quest "surround sound stereo system". Not on your life! Everytime I think I have programed those rear speakers to work, the next time I turn on the unit it has mysteriously "de-programed" itself.

This was supposed to be an improvement over the old RCA systems. Not a chance. I find the speaker quality when playing a CD sooo.....awful...I don't bother anymore.

Let us know if you get any resovle on this. My experience has been that Keystone tends to be in denial about the quality of the audio/video system they put in Montana's.
