Blue Ox at Fall Rally

As Dick has already posted Blue Ox, the manufacturer of the Bedsaver, will be at the Fall Rally again this year. If you don't know what the Bedsaver is, it is the best insurance you can have from dropping your unit onto the bedrails and tailgate of your tow vehicle. Maybe some of the members that have the Bedsaver on their hitch will chime in here and let you know what they think of the unit! After getting to the site click on Hitches. Then click on 5th Wheel**. Then you can click on Fit Applications**Check at the bottom of this post to see the complete list of hitches Blue Ox has Bedavers for. You can also click on the More Details under the discription of the Bedsaver for more info oin the Bedsaver.

** (note: the yellow device on the picture the 5th Wheel section or picture is the Pinlock that Blue Ox also makes and not the Bedsaver. Both are in Yellow on the website to make it evident on the hitch.

August 15th--Change of procedure-- I just got notified by Blue Ox and Destiny that she is no longer the coordinator for our Rally. If you are interested in a Bedsaver please contact me and I will forward all information on to Blue Ox so they can bring your model with them.

Blue Ox will be at the Fall Rally for the first 4-5 days of the Rally but will have to leave early to attend another Rally later in the week of our Rally.

Blue Ox will be giving us a 15% discount off of Retail pricing of $295 making the cost to you $250.95. There will also be FREE installation of the Bedsaver onsite during the Fall Rally.

September 7th Posting-- FINAL NOTICE TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING TO THE FALL RALLY AND ARE INTERESTED IN THE BLUE OX BEDSAVER SO WE CAN NOTIFY BLUE OX OF WHAT MODELS TO BRING OF THEIR PRODUCT. We need to know in advance who would like to purchase a Bedsaver or Pinlock by September 1st so they can bring enough of the correct units along with them for installation. They will bring a few extra with them but since they make multiple models to match the many hitches made by companies across the nation they cannot bring all of them made. If you are interested in purchasing a Bedsaver or Pinlock, please post on this thread and give me your hitch manufacturer and model number. IF you know the Bedsaver model number(found in the Fit Application section listed above) you can give me that also and I will match it also to double check the correct model# needed so they can bring the correct model with them for your hitch.

Ken-- Dick beat me to it! I'm sure we could get free shipping that handling fee would be one you'd cry about! Why not just come on down to Goshen and have a Bedsaver installed for free!!! The drive would be great and you'd be able to meet a lot of new friends here on MOC too! If you check the post from troutchaser he's already committed to a Bedsaver and he's from even further North than you are!

Robert-- I'll mark you down on the list. You're making a good decision. As I said earlier, it's the cheapest insurance you can get for body damage on both the TV and the Monte! Estimates run from $2000 all the way up to $6000 plus if that Monte comes unhooked and drops on the bed of the truck.

I've heard it before "It will never happen to me! I double and triple check everything before pulling out!" It only takes once for that unit to come unhitched or to be high hitched to learn the lesson!

I for one don't think I will ever need one, but that is why I had one installed at the last rally. I hope I can say I never needed it whenever I am done RVing!!

That's the way I feel too Don! I hope I will never need it but I had one put on three years ago and so far have not needed it and hope I will never have to use it either. I put mine on because it is a really cheap insurance policy incase the Monte does drop off the hitch and with that Bedsaver I won't have to worry about damage to the truck bed rails or tailgate or the front nose section of the Monte either. Sure beats a $6-10,0000 bill for repairs to both the TV and the Monte!
