Forgive me, for I have given in to temptation!

When you go in for routine oil change, it is not a good idea to browse the new truck lot.
the result of my weakness another look
Every thing I was looking for including the color and the factory 5th wheel hitch prep. Now I just need 1,000 miles on it so I can start towing.

Looking Good! I have had several experiences like that. Most expensive oil changes I've every had done. On the other hand, never went home feeling better.

Bill, men can't always be strong. We shouldn't be afraid to show a little weakness from time to time(for trucks that is)!

oh great, now I am feeling weak...

She's a real beauty, Bill. I know you'll love the truck. Mine is a 2011 and I only needed 500 miles before towing. Check your owners manual.

You are right. I read the main manual first and it said 1000 (gas I guess). Then I read the diesel manual and it said 500. So I only need 363 more.

No for all the above. But the '07 didn't either.

Came home with a new Montanna that way. For me it wasn't temptation as much as puppy dog eyes from the DW.

I did the same thing in '08. Took my '05 Chevy 2500 in to dealer in Tucson and went to "Browse" in the new vehicle lot and spotted the 3500's. They only had a black and dark blue so the dealer shopped around and found one (white) in Phoenix and I bought it sight unseen. We did not want the nav system but when it showed up it had it in the dash but it was not on the invoice that we agreed to so the dealer did not charge me for it ($2200 savings right there). We loved that truck. Anyway, we hope you have good luck with your Dodge. I had a '92 Dakota for 14 years an loved that one. Sold it for $4,000, but it only had 92k on it and it was always garaged in Alaska. The ECM module went out once and had to put new brakes on it, that was it in 14 years. I think the big three all build great trucks. Hope you have many good year with it!!!!!!

Yes, I like a complete oil change, and in this case to the very last drop. Congratulations.

Heck 363 miles in Texas means just a couple of times going out to eat. Only place I know where going out to eat requires a 2 hour drive lol lol I usually wait and trade my trucks when I put all new tires on it. Wife gets all nervous when I say the truck needs new tires. Nice rig..

Bill, wife and I are not Ford fans but, last fall we did test drive one identical to that. Same color and whole nine yards. We were impressed but then, we asked ourselves, with a perfectly good paid for Chevy, why should we do this now? So, I drove it back to the dealer and came home in the old Chevy.

I still believe that any of the 3 diesels are great. Good luck with the new set-up.

Very dangerous to go BROWSING or just killing time waiting for the oil change. Nice truck,I'm sure you will enjoy. Ford makes a nice looking vehicle.
