Bringing Slides in...all electricity shuts off
a new problem????? when bringing in the slides, now, the whole electircal systems shutsdown for a few seconds a couple of times. The lights quit and then a few seconds later they come on and i hear some relay(?) in the inverter connecting.
the slides evenually come in but the stopping/no electric for a few seconds is a concern...
any suggestions?

I had the same problem. Lippert came out with an advisory to change the circuit breaker to a 80 Amp. I had this done under warranty and it seems to work fine EXCEPT when the battery is less than fully charged. Then it will still trip the CB and restart after it self resets. I just apply 110v from my generator to the coach and it operates just fine.
I have completely cleaned and lubricated all slide mechanisms and aside from much smoother slide retraction and extension, the result is the same.

Sounds to me like the old resetable fuse problem nearly everyone has endured. Lippert put out a fix on installing a higher amp breaker and someone on the forum has a PDF version. Once those resetable breakers start popping they get weaker each time and the more frequent the failures.

If everything shuts down, you have low battery power.

It wasn't clear to me but does the AC electricity also go off? If so then there must be a major short or break somewhere in the line. Good luck. Dennis

CORattler, I showed your post along with a copy of the Lippert notice to my Montana dealer and he is getting the parts from Montana to change my trailer over to the higher amps.
