Two years of studies - finally over

Warning: this post has religious connotations, those who are not interested may not want to continue reading. For those with interest, the Moc members who have read my posts remember that a couple of years ago, I decided for my personal benefit to undertake a two year course of studies at the Bible College that our church began then. I am proud and humbled to say that at 6:30 tomorrow evening, I will be amongst a group of thirteen graduates of the first class of the Maranatha Bible Institute. It has been a trying two years taking four classes a semester on top of working an average of 55 hours a week, but the end is at hand. Thursday night was the last night of finals, and the cap and gown is hanging in the closet waiting to be donned Sunday evening. Cathy and the girls will be in proud attendance watching Dad accept his college degree by walking across the stage for the first time. When I received my previous two degrees, I did not even attend graduation, but had the diplomas mailed to me. I am going to proudly accept this degree in person. I am thankful that I undertook the endeavor, and am thankful that I live in a country where I had a choice to do so. I appreciate those that provided me support during this time. Blessings to all!!

Noneck,
Two year degree in Bible Studies, geared mainly towards those who are interested in going into ministry. Courses in addition to the normal ones included Christian leadership, Administration, and Counseling.

Bingo,
Congratulations. It takes a special kind of person to pursue that lifestyle.

Good luck, and God be with you.

Congratulations Bingo! Now if you decide to use that new diploma 55 hours is considered a short work week.

Wow, you aren't going to know what to do with all that free time now. Ministry is a breeze. You just have to work a couple of hours on Sundays.

Seriously, congratulations on achieving your goal. Use what you have learned to benefit others and you will be blessed beyond your expectations. God called you to be His first, then to do what he puts in your hands to do.

Congratulations! May the days ahead bring much joy! God doesn't necessarily call those that are equipped but he certainly equips those He calls!
