We just have a stand up model, stainless steel, with heavy botom. Purchased at Target, but is available any where. Have it on the counter next to the stove. We also have the coffee pot there as well. We just put a bit of non slip mesh under it and have had no movement.

Put ours at the end of the counter facing the bedroom. Wanted to access to it when we stopped to have lunch. Bought one made out of oak. Looks real nice and you can still get to the plug.

Wingerphil, we met at the RV show in Noblesville a couple of years ago! Hello!

We mounted a paper towel holder, oak wood, at the top of the cabinet that holds the microwave. It is up out of the way yet convenient.

We mounted one next to the convenience center in the basement.
Very handy when dumping.

We mounted an oak holder vertically on the side wall facing the stove between the stove and small spice cupboard, only trick is you have to take the roll of paper towels off the holder when you close the kitchen slide or you have half the roll on the floor from driving.
Good luck...

Ditto on the stand up stainless holder... Ditto on the coffee pot... and, oh yeah.... Ditto on the mesh grip liner. Wow, Barb, have you been to our place??? Don't even tell me that mesh grip is tan...

*On Edit~ Now that I think about it, we got our holder from Target, too. Now that's almost Twilight Zone stuff... What's that music???

I use clips that are similar to clothespins. Do the same with the toilet paper.

We mounted ours, black plastic, under the overhanging cabinet with the three shelves on it. To the right of the sink as you are standing at the sink.

Walmart has the stand up holder, but it is white and has a rubberized bottom. Doesn't need the non slip material. The white doesn't show fingerprints...

Ditto for both items.
