things are starting to come together
Yesterday, I picked up my new Ram 3500 diesel dually that had been on order since October. I was surprised by some of the things that a Laramie has but they don't bother bragging about them. The main one was the TPMS was included for all 6 tires and has it's own page in the 8 pages of information along with engine and transmission temps and pressures. Nice surprise, but now I've order 6 too many TST flow-thru sensors.  .
I spent today installing the Reese 30154 adapter for the factory prep fifth wheel package. It only needed minor adjustments, but when the adjustment is done by tweaking a 1.5" jam nut, it's a bit of work moving the 80 lb frame around. Now I have to find 2 other guys to help me set the R20 hitch onto the frame adapter and bolt it on.
Then I hear from Tiara RV in Elkhart that they have my 2014 Oyster 3402RL in the shop adding the stackable washer/dryer, G614's balanced, and the PI EMS HW50C.
PDI and pickup in less than 2 weeks if the weather allows.

Hello Jim, FYI. Your rig will come winterized from Keystone. Tiara will NOT hook it up to water. So, you will not know if the washer works as designed unless you wet your rig while there. They have a sewer dump at the front of the service building so you can connect to sewer and have a night in the parking lot with 30A.
Be sure you take a PDI check sheet with you and DO NOT let them rush you to sign the papers till you have had a complete walk thru and you are satisfied with it.
We bought our's there. The front closet doors were damaged, the toilet would not hold water, entry door hanging on gutter over door, battery wires not secured on battery terminals, Mor/ryde X factor wet bolts will not take grease. LP heater inop. We have fixed most of it ourselves. They had it for a week to do the PDI and install a Splendeide.
They mean well, but the owner tries to micro-manage the service department. Keystone or Tiara will only replace stuff, not adjust, or repair. They said I would need to wait 10 days for a new toilet. I had a new toilet, it just would not hold water. I called Thetford and they sent a seal kit and ball to my house in Missouri. I installed it and was done. They wanted to replace the entry door. All they needed to do was take a rubber hammer to the gutter. The drain hose on my washer was stuck down so far into the drain it siphoned the water out while washing. I fixed it once I got it home. The closet doors, I have them bungied open and have not fallen off sense. The heater needed a control board, got it fixed in Colorado this summer. Mor/ryde sent me new wet bolts. I installed them, now take grease.

We have discussed with Tiara that we will do a complete PDI including all the water related test and then winterize again before we leave. They will put the rig in their shop to do the PDI. I have my fingers crossed that things will go okay.
