RV purchase

Hello, I'm looking to buy a 3400RL sometime this year. I don't know what discount percent to expect or ask for. I know times are getting better and proably can't find deals but any help for Ohio,Flordia dealers or close by states would be a great help.

Thanks

We purchased our first two Montanas from Couchs Campers in Hamilton Ohio. Good service and a great price.
We bought our new 2010 at Walnut Ridge in New Castle Indiana and have been very satisfied with their business. Price was way better than Tampa, Elkhart Ind or Hamilton.
Call Walnut Ridge and ask for Chad, tell him I said to call, I don't get anything but a pat on the back!

In the past you could expect to get 30 to 33% off the MSRP. That was in 2006. This week at the K.C. RV show they had the 3400, pretty heavily loaded, discounted 17.5%. (MSRP $72,516 discounted to $59,881) I can only assume that was the starting point for serious negotiations. Good luck and let us know how you come out on your deal making. Jim

On edit I see I fat fingered 20 to 23% when I meant 30 to 33 %. On our 2006 we got 31% off the MSRP. Sorry if I created any confusion.

For a new loaded 3400RL anything more than $48,500 is too much. That is a straight purchase of course with no trade. You can probably get a little better price than that, but that's the most I would expect to pay.

Went to Walnut Ridge's RV show yesterday. They had a 2010 3400RL at "show price" of $52,000.00.

28/30% off that 72,516 is a point to start serious negotiations.

i hate to do this because my saleperson, though i didn't like how she handled my needs, i would recommend Lakeshore RV in muskegon, mi. we purchased a 3150.
they deliver and believe me while i was there a few rvers were picking up there trailers and they were from washington state and texas.
the price was at least 10K cvhaper than camping world. service is great.....

We got our Big Sky at Lazy Days in Tampa just over a year ago, at about 1/3 off MSRP.

We just priced a 3455SA at the Pittsburgh RV Show as follows:

Pricing for a 3455SA:
MSRP (according to them) $73,240
Their normal selling price 59,325
Show price 47,600
Discount from MSRP 35%
I have no doubt we can get the same %, after a little negotiation, at any time this year.
