Tannaue Covers
I am now going to be towing a 5er in the near future. So I will be saying good by to my Snug Top fiberglas shell in favor of a Pullrite hitch. With than in mind what type of covers are you folks using? I have a 2005 GMC 2500 HD Extended Cab Long Bed. Looking for one that is strong and possibly folds back or has sections that can be pushed back and fixed to cover a portion of the bed behind the hitch when 5er attached and pulled and locked shut when unattached.
Help here please.

I'm very pleased with the Access. Granted it's not the hard type, but it's very easy to use, durable and we added a lock to the tailgate to keep the nuisance fingers out of the bed.

Many here have the Truxedo - one of a couple of good soft tops (roll up). This is what I have and I am very pleased with it. Guaranteed for life against rips/tears.

I use the folding cover made by Advanced Cover over my superglide and I have had good luck with it. It is solid and very waterproof. The only issue I have is visability to the hitch. With a short bed truck I can't see the hitch from the drivers seat when the cover is folded back. I've adapted a marking system on the cover and king pin to help me with alignement and my wife and I have found a very effective way to complete the hitching as a team. I would use it again on any future truck.

I love my Access which as pointed out is not hard but rolls up nice and I can see hitch when I hook up. A friend got a hard type and he has a problem seeing the hitch during hook up so has set up a system to assist him.

I have a Truxedo and it works great. As stated above, lifetime warranty and great people to deal with.

Lorado Tonneau Cover by Access is a good fold away cover, soft and can be locked.
Ebay has them from time to time for $349 by some ebay seller. Free ship and no tax. You can install the Lorado yourself. If I can do it, you probably could too!!

I'm using the Retrax roll up cover. If I bought another truck I would make the same decision again.
