I have a'03 3670RL Love the unit. My problem, my ref. will run on LP when set on gas, but when on auto will not get cold. It trys to auto switch to gas but won't. Will not run on 120 volts. It has power at the board both 120 and 12, the fuses and breakers are all good. Not sure what to check and where componets are. thanks for any help

gbsb---On our 2006 3475RL our Dometic would only get cold and work when set on 5. So we did this for the first few months that we used the RV. We only went on one 5 day trip and the others were weekend trips. It seemed to be working.
In August we left for a 9 week trip. On day 4 the refrig would not cool down. So we went to Camping World for a warranty check. They could not find anything that was not working according to spec. So I towed the Monty back to the RV Park. Two days later the complete unit failed. We went back to Camping World and they worked with Dometic to completely replace the cooling unit. Basically the cooling unit is the "guts" of the unit in the back. The front door and insides are our original unit. After 9 weeks and about 6000 miles on the road, the Dometic is doing GREAT!!
Lesson--take it in for a check and I would recommend running the unit for about a month to force a hard failure!

gbsb: George, before you take it to a service centre to get checked give Dometic a call. We had a problem with our mirco. this summer and they told us they would send us a new one. Your coach is only a yr. older than ours and if I am not mistaken there is a 5 yr. warranty on their products. Go to their website and get the 1-800 number.

Dometic told us they have a three year warranty on fridge. First two years covers labor and parts. Last year covers parts only.
If they replace anything or give you a new one... your warranty still last as the orginal. Warranty does not start over with a new fridge.
Sure glad ours was still under warranty!

Unless they have changed the warranties on the new Monty.

Not sure these two situations are related, but you might want to read this thread:
