3400 TV

My AM radio gives us nothing but static. Most likely an antenna problem (which is behind the TV), but how does the TV come out? Pulled out the two screws coming up from the bottom, but still seems like there is something else holding it in at the top...or do I just over power it and pull it out?

Bert, I believe the antenna behind the tv is for FM. Turn you tv antenna booster on and see what happens. Thats the only way mine works.

There's a long screw coming in from the top I believe. It's underneath a wood plug or something like that. Someone that owns a 3400 will be along here in awhile to describe it exactly .. don't force it!

dieselguy is right if I remember correctly. Someone said in a post awhile back, remove the screw that holds the center speaker, remove the speaker, and there is another screw holding the television.

My 2955RL had a top screw in the side and two screws in the bottom. That 27" Zenith is close to 80 pounds so have someone with you to disconnect the cables once you have it in your hands.

I did feel the cabinet on my 2955RL was not made strong enough to hold that heavy set so it is not going back and I got a 35 pound 26" Panasonic going back in. Working on it today.
