Ceiling Vents come on and off by thenselves

Hello all.
We have a 2020 Montana 3811ms.
Here it is a year later and the problem we're having is with the roof vent fans with electric fan on off and open close....
Out of the blue the fans will turn on and off by themselves and the vents will open and close by themselves. The wall controls are connected to what appears to be phone type plugs, like the ones you plug into your landline phone.
What the heck am I missing here. The things are opening and closing, fans turning off and on, ghost mode style. This is happening in the kitchen/living area vent as well as the bathroom vent. Both are doing the same thing. Had really bad experiences where we bought the unit at Camping World so We will not take it there. Rather do the repairs ourselves but I'm stumped, probably starring me in the face. To give ya more if an idea why we refuse to take the 5er back to the dealership....we bought brand new washer and dryer...the washer has never worked right, was not leveled at all and the leveling legs were no on the machine. 2, we paid to have an on demand water heater installed, waited and month for this to be done, and it was not done, ironically when we got the unit delivered the hot water heated did not work in electric mode. We smelled smoke and pulled out the hutch bottom panels and the 120vac wires were crunched in the makeup box where the 12vdc replay is and they melted to the box right below the propane pipe connections. Had there been a propane leak out Montana would have burned to the ground. NEVER got a return call form Camping World service dept. Also the DVD player did not work. There was a wizard of oz dvd jammed in there. When I took the DVD to the delear to show them what was stuck in the player I was called a liar from a salesman that that doesn't happen. Yes it does and did. Photoed the problems and left the DVD with the service manager. Never a return call. The auto leveling system almost turned the 5er over on delivery and set up. Have had a hydrolics fluid leak ever sense. The water pump blew and flooded the basement without ever haven used it 1 week after delivery. Service dept never returned call. We don't need any hack wisecracker remarks, as people need to know these things. I've correct the repairs myself as there no way we will ever take our RV back to that dealership. So with all that, what am I missing about the vents turning on and opening and closing by themselves after 1 year. Thanks from the heart for any help. This thing was expensive for regular people..... My goodness the vent fans just ghost operated and chirped right now. Off and on, open and close 😁

John,

I remember other folks with a similar issue. If I remember right they rewired the fans to a different fuze. You may find it by searching the forum.

When I was shopping for a new rig, CW salesman tried to put the screws to me. I kept the corresponding emails and forwarded them to the CEO of CW . Within five minutes I had a response from CEO. He connected me with Vice President of CW, they resolved all my problems. Go to the Top! CW is a good company
