Not enough truck, I wouldn’t try to move around the corner let alone 1000 miles.

So I’m wondering if I could be of some help to you.
If you care to mention the town it’s in and where it’s going and what your timeline looks like, I’ll see if it fits into my schedule.

But @ 10 mpg , its not going to be cheap. Do you see were this is going
I have the truck if you have the funds.
Always looking for adventure.
Just give me a shout if i could be of some assistance.

Way to little truck for that camper. I have that exact camper and I tow it with a 3/4 ton 2016 2500 HD Ram Cummins diesel. There is no way in hades I'd try to move that camper with anything smaller. My truck handles the camper fine but I'd feel safer if it was a one ton dually. No way your suspension and tires on the 1/2 ton are up to the task. Neither is your engine, transmission, or trucks breaking systems. Get a bigger truck preferably a diesel or as others have suggested higher a company to haul it the 1k miles for you. It would be far cheaper than buying another truck that is capable of towing that camper. That camper is rated at 12900 lbs dry. Buy the time you get done cramming it full of belongings for the move you will likely be pushing 14k to 15k lbs way more than any 1/2 ton is prepared to tow
