Electric brake problem

I have a 2017 High Country 345. I was repacking the bearings,and when I pulled the rear drum passenger side I found the wires to the magnet sheared off. The two clips were dislodged and the wires looked twisted as well. When I pulled the driver's side rear one of the wires had a bare spot which I was able to repair.The front wheels were good . Any ideas as how this happened.

If you have never repacked them before, probably the assemblies were not installed with everything in place. It may also just be road vibration that caused things to come loose. I just repacked mine, and on one, the star wheel adjuster was completely gone as were a few other pieces of hardware. I guess they were ground up inside the drum but never had any indication that there was a problem. Going to get the disk brakes installed while in Coos Bay at the Western Region Rally in June. I'm done with the electric drum brakes on this rig. Hopefully the disks hold up better than the drums.

Bob, you will love the disc brakes. Best upgrade you can do to a 3402rl.
