Rat problem in 2015 Montana 3611

Just discovered and killed a rat in the belly of our camper and now have no left blinker nor left brake light. I checked the bulb and it's good plus I'm not getting power to one leg on the bulb although I do have a left tail light. Has anyone dealt with a likely chewed wire before? If so, any advice would be appreciated.

Looks to me that you'll have to drop the black underneath covering starting from the back and start tracking down the wires. It might be a long job but hopefully you'll get lucky.

I would pull the light first, since it the easiest thing to do. Might get lucky and see where it was chewed.

This is why we use a rope light around our rig at night. Doesn't help with mice, but pack rats stay away.

Put camphor balls around everything that touches the ground...tires, jacks, hoses, etc.
