Help w/New/Used Purchase Decision
Down to the wire now; house closes next week and I have a 15 day rent back. I have a small deposit on a brand new '04 Montana 3575RL, out the door in CA for a really good price. Loaded with just about everything except a 2nd a/c and generator.
A member here has a 2 yr old 3575RL Big Sky, also loaded including a 2nd air conditioner, for about the same price delivered to me here in CA (he has relatives nearby). I really like this model in the Big Sky; the dealer had an '03 but wouldn't come down in price enough, and it was what hooked me on Montanas.
I live where it gets pretty hot in the summer, and there's some smog too from an oxidation standpoint. I'd be living in this unit on a big piece of ground full time.
The Big Sky only has around 7,000 miles on it, but it's out of state where I can't easily inspect it though the photos look really good. He's parked it for at least the last year, has a brick and mortar honey, but they plan to get a smaller Keystone.
Any advice for this novice? Yeah, the Big Sky wouldn't be under warranty, but I'll bet all the bugs are shaken out of it by now anyway.
Thanks in advance,
Lynne
