2010 Montana High Country 333DB

Just joined this forum and hope that it is ok for a Montana High Country to join the group. I think I might be one of the only one! (not sure if thats good or bad). We have two year old twin boys and hope that this Montana HC goes along on many new adventures with us. Looking forward to reading and learning from this forum.

You may be our only source of information on the new High Country for awhile. So let us know what is good or bad with your rig, so others that are thinking of a High Country will have something to fall back on. Now, welcome to the forum.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. We made a HUGE leap from a Lance 820 Camper to the Montana High Country.

We are taking the Montana out on Halloween weekend for the maiden voyage if we ever get it back from the dealer. I brought it in to have some little things fixed that we had found on the walk around and was showing and telling the service guy that i wanted the Main slide adjusted.. he said really why is that?... as he was looking at it .. operating it.. the cable snapped.. I calmly looked at him and said.. well THAT is why. They have had it for two weeks now explaining that they had to order a cable. I said well if you have problems i can have one purchased and overnighted for 30 bucks.

I thought i would humor myself and call Keystone customer service and ask a couple of questions on my Montana. Found out they know NOTHING about it. Hopefully they will get on the ball and have information soon for their reps since it is a new model.

Not so sure that it will go back to the dealer after this unless something major happens. I can replace a cable and do the little things. But think hey in the first year why not let it all be free and have them fix it.

Nothing negative here on the Montana we are just excited about using it and having some fun!

Welcome to the MOC! Congratulations on your new Montana. If you're like many of us you'll find satisfaction in becoming familiar with your rig and fixing the minor things yourself. You never know when you'll need a repair and won't be near a dealer. That's an area that the MOC really shines! Many great folks here with tons of experience and knowledge that will help. Post away!
