Banks I-Dash
Just got an I-Dash from Banks, wondering who else uses one to monitor their truck? I know that a few of us do, Very useful tool it can scan eng. codes perform manual DPF regens and give you a plethora of gauge options. post what gauges that you monitor with the I-dash and any feedback good or bad on this tool.

I am interested in buying one of them. Any feedback you could provide would be great. Recently traded our gasser for a diesel so I do not know much about them

I have a Spartan tuner. The things I can monitor with it I’m sure are the same things you can monitor with a a Banks.
I monitor
Exhaust temperature
Engine oil temperature
Transmission oil temperature
Manifold gage pressure
Transmission slip RPM
Fuel rail temperature 1
Exhaust gas recirculating Temperature A
Turbo boost PSI

I have a I dash on my 17 F350 DRW diesel. I have it set up for engine temperatures and EGTs. I also show DPF soot level and if Regen is on or off. I know when my truck goes into Regen so I know to keep driving it until done. Also when towing I know why my fuel mileage dropped

I have one on our F350 along with a derringer tuner. I Wouldn't leave home without it. It shows all important metrics from the engine. And transmission.

I've had the Edge CTS 3 for several years. Works great and also reads and clears codes and can do DPF regens

I have one on my 2022 F-250 diesel. I have all 5 pages in use, but I focus on my temperature page (coolant temp, oil temp, turbine inlet temp, TRANS TEMP!) and DPF page when towing. What I like most is that you can set alarms to alert you when any parameter gets too high or low. That way you can be notified if something goes bad even if you are not displaying the page it is on.

I have the Banks Data Monster so I can also record up to 100 sensors and review them later. I also have the Pedal Commander and the Monster Ram Intake so I don't have to worry about hardware from the grid heater falling in and going down my #6 piston. Still gets me that Ram doesn't have a recall on that.

Congrats on the iBanks Jim! After you've had it for a while maybe you can give us your review of the unit.
